    Smells good

    I've used this quite a bit now and I think I prefer the Gillette gel shaving cream over this. This is labeled as gel, but its more watery than gel. Its closer to an ointment consistency. It smells great though and it does the job well. I just prefer the more typical gel instead.

    Good Value for a Shaving Oil

    This is a shave oil. If you're used to working up a lather, this will not do that. Description says "gel" & "glaze", but it's an oil consistency. It certainly can be used as a 3-in-1 product: Preshave - condition and soften whiskers, Shave - help the razor glide, Post shave - recondition skin and relieve irritation caused by the shave. It does as well as most any other shave oil.I personally switch between a cartridge razor and DE razor and I get a better result with the cartridge razor when using the TCM shave oil.I don't get a coconut scent at all... not sure what the scent is... can't quite put my "nose" on it. That being said, it's not really a sweet or even masculine scent... more neutral to me.I think it's a good value.

    Close shave with a light fragrance afterwards

    My first impression of this product was that I probably wasn't going to like it but once I gave it a shot I realized I was wrong.The glaze is just that, a somewhat thin, clear gel with a sweet smell almost like coconut. It protects skin well during shaving and allows the blade to glide smoothly with no catching or nicks. I didn't notice any residue after rinsing and it left a pleasant light fragrance.
